Parties and Definitions

This Privacy and Cookie Policy ("Policy") governs the relationship between users ("User") who make use of the services offered at eboost.gg and its connected digital platforms ("Site" or "Service") and EBOOSTGG LTD, the company that operates the Site ("eboost.gg"). EBOOSTGG LTD is a private limited company incorporated in England and Wales under company number 16883185, with its registered office at Unit 501 Leroy House, 434-436 Essex Road, London, N1 3FY, United Kingdom. Where a term is not defined here, it keeps the meaning given to it in the Terms of Use.

  1. Cookie: a small data file, sometimes holding anonymous and unique identifiers, that the browser places on a User's device during a visit to the Site.
  2. Tracking Technologies: cookies, tags, pixels, scripts, and comparable tools used to keep the Site working, study how it is used, and improve the service.
  3. Personal Data: any information that relates to a person who is identified or can be identified.
  4. Usage Data: technical and statistical information gathered automatically as the User reaches and moves through the Site.
  5. Service Provider: an outside person or company that performs work for eboost.gg in areas such as site infrastructure, payments, analytics, customer support, and security.

Purpose and Scope of the Policy

  1. This Policy exists to explain why personal data and cookies are gathered, and how they are processed, stored, transferred, and kept safe while the Site is used.
  2. eboost.gg commits to following the data protection rules that apply, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for users inside the European Economic Area.
  3. Using the Site means the User is aware of and accepts the data handling described here.

Types of Data Collected

To deliver the services on offer, the Site may ask the User for the following personal data:

  • Full name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Payment and billing details (card numbers are not held on our systems)
  • Account and transaction details
  • Communication preferences

The following may be collected automatically as the Site is used:

  • IP address
  • Browser type and version
  • Pages viewed
  • Date and time of the visit
  • Time spent on each page
  • Device details and identifiers

The Site relies on cookies and similar technology to improve the experience and make the service work better. They fall into a handful of roles: essential cookies keep the core of the Site running; preference cookies remember settings and choices; analytics cookies measure usage and performance; and security cookies guard against misuse. Non-essential cookies, including analytics cookies, are set only after the User has given consent through the cookie banner; essential cookies always run because the Site cannot work without them. A User can also refuse or limit cookies in the browser settings, though parts of the Site may then stop working as intended.

Purposes of Data Processing

The data we collect is processed in order to:

  • Provide and keep the services running
  • Set up and manage User accounts
  • Answer requests and support questions
  • Study and improve how the Site performs
  • Keep the Site secure and head off abuse
  • Meet legal obligations

Data Transfers

Where the law allows and with suitable technical and organizational safeguards in place, personal data may be passed to service providers, to authorized public institutions, and to the relevant authorities where a legal duty calls for it. Data may travel to and be processed on servers located in other jurisdictions; by using the Site the User accepts this. Where it applies, safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) are used to protect transfers that cross borders.

Service Providers

In running its services, eboost.gg may work with outside providers, among them:

  • Google (Analytics, Tag Manager, Login)
  • Meta (Facebook Login, Pixel, Ads)
  • Discord
  • Cloudflare
  • Microsoft Clarity
  • Live support and communication services
  • Payment service providers

These providers may reach personal data only to the extent needed to perform their own service, and they are bound by confidentiality obligations.

Data Security

eboost.gg applies sensible technical and organizational measures to protect personal data. Even so, no data sent over the internet can be made perfectly secure. Payments run on secure, encrypted infrastructure, and card details are never stored on our systems.

Your Rights

Under the data protection laws that apply, including the GDPR for EEA residents, you may hold the following rights over your personal data:

  • Access - request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Rectification - have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected
  • Erasure - ask that your data be deleted in defined circumstances
  • Restriction - ask us to limit how we process your data
  • Portability - receive your data in a structured, commonly used format
  • Objection - object to our processing of your personal data
  • Withdraw consent - take back consent at any time where processing rests on it
  • Lodge a complaint - raise a concern with your data protection supervisory authority

To exercise any of these rights, write to us at support@eboost.gg. If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.

Third-Party Links

The Site may link out to websites or applications run by others. eboost.gg takes no responsibility for the privacy practices of any site reached through those links.

Children's Privacy

The Site is not intended for anyone under the age of 18, and personal data is not knowingly gathered from them. If such data is identified, it is deleted at once.

Kind Teammates: Messages, Voice and Shared Media

Using Kind Teammates involves communicating directly with another User. This section explains what is processed as a result.

In addition to the data described elsewhere in this Policy, eboost.gg processes:

  • Messages exchanged between a Customer and a Teammate on the Site, including their text, any attachments, and the times they were sent, so the conversation can be delivered and shown to both parties.
  • Images, audio and other files uploaded to a Teammate profile, a gallery, or a conversation.
  • Order records — what was ordered, from whom, when it started and ended, what was paid, and whether it was reported — for as long as needed to operate the marketplace and to meet legal and accounting obligations.
  • Reports submitted about an Order or a User, including their content, so they can be reviewed and decided.
  1. Conversation content is accessible to the two Users in the conversation. Authorised eboost.gg staff may access it where necessary to review a report, investigate a breach of the Terms, or comply with a legal obligation.
  2. Voice calls made through the Site are transmitted between the parties and are not recorded by eboost.gg. Where either party records a call, that recording and its lawfulness are that party's responsibility.
  3. Deleting an account removes the public profile. Order records, payment records and the content of reports may be retained where a legal, accounting or dispute-resolution obligation requires it.

Policy Changes

eboost.gg may revise this Privacy Policy whenever it sees fit. A revised version takes effect once it is posted on the Site, and continued use of the Site after that point counts as acceptance of the updated Policy.
